Villa Santhi is heaven on earth. The location, oceanside; the design, luxurious and private; and the service, attentive and all knowing.

No detail is left to chance at Villa Santhi. Each morning we left our luxurious bedroom oasis and stepped onto the terrace to breathe in the frangipani soaked air and watch the fishermen glide off into the dawn mist while Komang and her capable and attentive staff provided breakfast poolside.

These elements combined to make our stay a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Except I told my husband, we are going back, soon!

Our stay at Villa Santhi was everything we expected and more. The location adjacent to the beach with paddy fields and hills as a backdrop is magical.

The villa itself is an architectural delight and lacks for nothing in terms of style and luxury. It is spacious and airy and no expense has been spared on its interior. The gardens are superbly laid out around the infinity pool with many interesting sculptural features and more than adequate leisure space.

The staff are friendly and helpful and extremely attentive and the quality of food and other services is 5 star.

The villa is located centrally on the northern coast making it an ideal base for sightseeing and sporting activities.

We enjoyed our stay enormously and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury holiday in an exotic location.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Santhi. The villa is an ideal frame for a family holiday.

The villa is just a jewel, with spacious bedrooms, magnificent views (ocean in front and irrigated rice-fields and escarpments in the back) and a wonderful garden with a big pool.

All in all, the villa, the staff and the good atmosphere around Villa Santhi definitely will bring us back again!

The design of the master bedroom is impeccable: the massive bed, wooden furniture, features, artwork, high vaulted thatched roof and lighting are simply luxurious.

The outside bath is stunning, already run with flowers when we arrived, clearly the preparation was very thorough and we could not ask for a better welcome.

The upstairs patio is superb, nothing better than sipping coffee in the morning whilst gazing over the Bali Sea. One time I even saw dolphins at play!

All the food was lovely and the special themed dinners were excellent - compliments to the chef! The Balinese traditional dancing was great! Unfortunately I'm not quite as elegant... The beach meal was unforgettable.

Our break was quite simply the best vacation we have ever experienced. The Santhi staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay it was difficult to leave.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Bali. Your villa is lovely and the service was impeccable.

But most of all we enjoyed your family, what great fun they are! We look forward to a return visit in the near future.

We spent two weeks in December 2007 at Villa Santhi. The architecture of the house is amazing. From electronic devices (TV, DVD etc.) to the furniture, it is equipped with all the amenities we can imagine. We even had a Christmas tree!

Of course most of our time was spent outside. It was wonderful to sit at the pool just meters away from the beach enjoying the great sea view. Often we sat there until late at night. Many of these evenings one of the friendly security men played Balinese music for us, which made the atmosphere lovely.

All the staff is perfect! We took our breakfast around 1 pm – it was not a problem! The cook prepared every kind of meal we asked for. The manager and driver showed us many nice places in the area, including beautiful waterfalls, markets and a very good (Belgian!!!) restaurant.

An unforgettable highlight was our 2-day trip to the Komodo National Park to see the Komodo Dragons. We asked Novi, the manager, to assist us to get there and it was organized perfectly. For nature lovers this adventure is a must!

We had a great time in a perfect house with perfect and lovely staff. We will be back.

Villa Santhi was all we were hoping for. The pool, the lights, the garden, and the staff welcome all made for a great first impression. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets, lazing around (or in) the pool, watching the sun going down.

The Villa itself is craftily designed, with a balanced blend of open and closed spaces, and a few extravagant touches (how else would you describe a 3-meter diameter tub?) that give it a unique style.

The garden and pool are beautifully tended, and the villa staff are truly Balinese (need I say more?). A little secret is the coral reef sitting 50 meters from shore, and teeming with tiny colorful fish.

Our time in Bali was unforgettable.

It was very easy to be friendy to you and the staff because we felt like we were a part of the Santhi family.

The dinner spectacular was great, especially the decoration around the table and also the lights. The dance performance was wonderful.

We had the most wonderful stay in Villa Santhi - the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and charming. A very competent team.

The setting of the villa is absolutely idyllic and the villa extremely comfortable.

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed and we shall never forget it.

You have all been so kind to us, there is nothing we asked for that we have not been given. A special big thank you to Susannah for showing me Balinese cooking and to Novi for being her assistant.

My wife and I spent a week in Villa Santhi in April 08. It is amazing. The villa caters for all your needs and the attention to detail is second to none. Ketut the chef is top class and will cook you anything you want. We felt like rock stars and were waited on hand and foot.

We had spa sessions, were taken out on a boat to watch the dolphins and Komang the manager personally took us out on trips. We visited the Royal Palace at Singaraja where we met the old King of Bali's grandson and went to an amazing 200ft waterfall (not Gitgit) where there were no other people.

The rooms are out of this world, the infinity pool overlooking the beach / ocean is awesome and definitely have the "dinner spectacular" on the beach.

Our visit to Villa Santhi was just out of this world. The setting of the Villa could not be more breathtaking and luxurious and the staff were simply wonderful. Every whim was catered for even down to the massages being done as and when required. The birthday celebration for Jackie on the beach was fantastic and none of us will ever forget Jackie's birthday for this reason.

Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff and the images you see on the website are even better when you arrive.

This villa is in a heaven sent location and worth the long journey to get here. We will certainly be returning to sample all the delights again at a later date.
