Villa Santhi is set in
1,585m² of landscaped private gardens featuring bountiful coconut palms, delicate frangipanis and vibrant passionflowers. These grounds have a number of delightful features:
- Enigmatic statues enhance the peaceful atmosphere, and flowing water-features add a delicious sound and cool and moisten the air.
- The jewel-like 16-metre swimming pool, with its central island, is great for cooling off and large enough for serious exercise. With its infinity-effect design, it appears to merge seamlessly into the ocean.
- The pool features a sunken seating area, under a pergola, where you can relax and enjoy a cocktail in the dappled shade.
- A circular reflecting pool acts as a delightful focal point, and can also be used as a safe and enjoyable children's pool.
- The lovely poolside Balé (Balinese gazebo) is ideal for a siesta, massage, romantic candlelight dinner or just relaxing and enjoying the view.
- Our fish pond, complete with lilies and fountains, features a splendid Balinese Hindu water temple. Here, you will see our staff making offerings wearing traditional Balinese dress. A wonderful insight into this fascinating culture.
- More fish (including Koi carp) live in the “moat”, complete with folding “drawbridge”, which surrounds the villa. For the ultimate in seclusion, you can raise the drawbridge and know you won't be disturbed!
Included in the grounds are staff facilities and parking spaces. These are situated near the entrance and are far enough from the villa for seclusion, but close enough for convenience.
